UMANG: Bringing Government
services under one app
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently launched Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) which brings all government services on a single platform. The launch of the app is another feather to the cap of “Digital India” Programme, integrating technology with Governance for accessibility, transparency and accountability.
Access Government services with a click
The App gives access to services such asAadhaar, DigiLocker, Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS)
UMANG will provide access to over 1,200 services of government organisations
Citizens will have access to EPFO services, can apply for a new PAN Supports
13 Indian languages and caters to on-demand scalability
Access to more than162 services from 33 departments and four states
Available on Android, iOS and Windows devices
